Words

"No matter what people tell you, words and ideas can change the world."

-Robin Williams

Thoughts:
Remember when you were a kid, and you wanted to be something amazing. Like a unicorn. You wanted to run through the meadows and never worry about anyone. No parents, school, homework, or anything. Always recess. You thought Santa existed. You believed in the Tooth Fairy. You just knew that your life would be the best ever in the world. Then you hit middle school. In addition, kids turn out to be asses. True asses. They tell you that being a unicorn is stupid. That it will not ever happen. That you can stop right there and try again. Indeed, you do. However, this time you think differently. You think in the back of your head, what if you just are not thinking right. You get these thoughts that tell you bad things. You need to grow up. Ladies, and men, that is the power of words. Now, some of us listened and some of us did not. We all went down different paths to decide if that voice we heard all through middle school was right. Then guess what happened? You hit high school. Of course, that voice disappeared, but a more mature followed in its place. What is the point of this you ask? That words and actions can change things. Nevertheless, not always for the better. Some times when we think our words are doing one thing we turn around and look at the destruction they have caused behind us.

  1. Some people do not think that their words are hurting people but some people think it is cool to make fun of people to fit in with their friends. But some people are emotional wrecks and take everything to heart and it hurts them more than it would anybody else. But people shouldn't take everything to heart, they should let it in one ear and out the other.
